Methodology – Hazard Prioritization, Loss Estimation
Edwards & Kelcey conducted hazard identification and
prioritization exercises with the members of the Core Planning Team and members
of the Jefferson County Project Impact Partnership. The findings from these steps were utilized to determine the
priority hazards for Jefferson County and its municipalities, which became the
focus of the mitigation strategies developed for the plan. The questionnaire and results of the
prioritization exercises are listed below.
