The Department of Planning , Zoning, and Engineering is responsible for adminstration of county land use ordinances, property safety ordinance, building codes and county projects.
Planning Commission meet every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Charles Town Library meeting room, 200 East Washington Street, Side entrance Samuel Street, Charles Town, West Virginia.
The Board of Zoning Appeals meet the 3rd Thursday of each month at 3:00p.m. in the Charles Town Library meeting room, 200 East Washington Street, side entrance Samuel Street, Charles Town, West Virginia.
The Property Safety Enforcement Agency meet on the 4th Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the Charles Town Library meeting room, 200 East Washington Street, side entrance Samuel Street, Charles Town, West Virginia.
The Building Code Board of Appeals meet on an as needed basis in the Charles Town Library meeting room, 200 East Washington Street, side entrance Samuel Street, Charles Town, West Virginia.
