Stacie left her corporate computer career in 2008 after 21 years to be a stay-home mom to her beautiful twin girls. Stacie has always had a passions for helping children and began volunteering in the Jefferson County School System in 2013. She worked  to promote reading and writing skills to children that were delayed and needed extra help. While she continues to volunteer her time; she is in her second year as Lead Teacher in the Toddler Learning Time program. She loves teaching young children the skills they will need in preschool and beyond.

Toddler Learning Time Assistant Teacher

Sarah has been teaching in our Toddler Learning Time class for three years, and she adores being able to be a first teacher for so many wonderful one and two year old students! Ms. Sarah earned a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Delaware, and she also have a Bachelors in English Education from Shepherd University. Ms. Sarah has a 14 year old daughter and a 9 year old son who spent many years enjoying all the wonderful programming for children offered by Jefferson County Parks and Recreation.


Toddler Learning Time Mission
Toddler Learning Time's mission is to provide children ages 1-3 with a well-rounded program in a positive, safe, and supportive environment. Our missions is achieved by a professional and dedicated staff that will guide your child through a variety of meaningful and interesting experiences, which will help to develop your child's cognitive, social, and physical skills through appropriate activities. You child will have fun learning through play!

Toddler Learning Time is designated for children ages 1-3. We have a designated Toddler Learning Time classroom in the Jefferson County Community Center in Sam Michael's Park.

Toddler Learning Time is offered September - May. Preschool registration is accepted on a rolling basis, and students will be accepted throughout the year when space is available. (Supply and Registration Fees are not pro-rated)

Jefferson County Parks and Recreation also offered Toddler Summer Camp opportunities!

***A one-time (non-refundable) supply fee of $30.00 is
    due at the beginning of each preschool year.
