The second week of April is National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week.  During that week the Public Safety Dispatchers are recognized for their hard work and dedication.  A banquet is held with many of the surrounding counties to recognize the Dispatcher and Supervisor of the year for each agency.  For 2010 the Dispatcher of the Year was Merri McIntyre and the Supervisor of the Year was Kym Burke.

On Friday October 28, 2011 Dispatcher Christine Miller was chosen For a Chamber Of Commerce Honoree for her hard work, dedication and knowledge of her job.
