The County Commission held a Public Hearing on November 6, 2014 at 7:00 PM to receive public comments on the draft Envision Jefferson 2035 Comprehensive Plan. Public comments may be submitted in writing until close of business on November 20, 2014. Click Here to review public comments received to date.
In an effort to promote communication and coordination between the Citizens of Jefferson County and the Jefferson County Planning, Zoning, and Engineering staff, the Planning Commission has proposed a stakeholders round table discussion to be held quarterly. The first roundtable discussion is scheduled for December 12, 2014 at 3:00 PM in the library meeting room located on the lower level of the Old Charles Town Library at 200 E Washington Street in Charles Town. Interested individuals are welcome to come share their thoughts on the current processes, ordinances, regulations, or simply day-to-day activities by Planning, Zoning, and Engineering departments. This will be an open forum to promote discussion and betterment within Jefferson County.
