Jefferson County Offices and Courts, Delayed Opening Due to Weather

CHARLES TOWN, WV (January 26, 2026) – Due to inclement weather, the Jefferson County Commission offices and the courts will operate on a 2-hour delay on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, by the authority of Jefferson County Commission President Pasha Majdi and Chief Judge Hammer. All Jefferson County Offices and Courts will open two-hours later than their normally scheduled time.
Please exercise caution while traveling as road conditions may be hazardous. Jefferson County remains under a Cold Weather Advisory.
Residents are encouraged to stay informed through official county communication channels for any further updates regarding weather-related schedule changes.
