This course covers the awareness and operations levels of WVOEMS Mass Casualty Incident Management. Topics include identification of a MCI, START triage, use of the WV triage tag, criteria for patient classification, and a review of the incident command structure.
This course is free for Jefferson County, WV EMS providers.
Out of county EMS providers may still take the course, however a fee for the course may apply. Please call Lieutenant Craig Horn at 304-728-3287 for additional information.
Class is limited to 30 students.
