This is the best up close and personal camp for animal lovers! There will be two or more animals present each day. Under close adult supervision, participants will observe, hold, pet, and feed animals all week. Animals include birds, reptiles, mammals, amphibians, and invertebrates and will be chosen from Critters & Conservation's over 35 species. Students will learn about proper animal handling, basic biology, animal behavior, animals' jobs in nature, the food web, husbandry, geography, biomes, the importance of biodiversity, and much more. Camp also includes coloring, crafts, outside play, and free time with animal themed toys, books, and puzzles. Please remember to bring a snack, a drink, and your sense of curiosity and adventure! Bring or apply sunscreen.
