On July 1, 2024, commissioners Cook and Upson held a town hall in Shepherdstown. Commissioners Cook and Upson were especially interested in hearing from the community about solar development. The event was held in the Shepherdstown Community Club. Over 150 people attended the town hall in person and virtually.
