Jefferson County is in the 16^th Senatorial District.

As a result of the 2021 state redistricting, Jefferson County will have four delegate districts: 97^th, 98^th, 99^th, and 100^th. These four new delegate districts will become effective with the swearing-in of general election winners after the November 8, 2022 General Election.
