08-16-21 - Judge Debra McLaughlin issued a decision on Civil Case #CC-19-2021-C-33 which overturned the zoning text amendment ZTA19-03.
 

04-12-21 @ 6:00 p.m.: County Commission Public Hearing

The County Commission adopted the proposed text amendment ZTA19-03, with an amendment to include an option for a reduced setback with a buffer. The vote passed with a motion of 3-1 (Commission Tabb opposed; Commissioner Stolipher recused himself from the meeting).

The Planning Commission voted to schedule a Public Hearing on February 9, 2021 to receive public input on the draft text amendment ZTA19-03.

12-10-20 @ 9:30 a.m.: Special County Commission Meeting (Virtual)

The County Commission voted to vacate the October 1, 2020 approval of ZTA19-03 and return the text amendment to the Planning Commission for further review and consideration. The motion passed with a vote of 3-2 (Commissioners Compton and Hudson opposing).

 12-10-20 CC Meeting Minutes

10-01-20 @ 9:30 a.m.: County Commission Meeting (Virtual)

The County Commission voted to adopt the proposed amendment as written, with one change to increase the required setback from 100' to 200'. The motion passed with a vote of 3 for and 2 opposed (JT and RL). The amendment will go into effect November 16, 2020.
