The project consists of rows of solar modules, a new substation to connect the solar facility to the existing overhead electrical transmission line, and a 20MW Battery Energy Storage System (BESS). The project also includes internal access roads, commercial entrance(s), security fencing, a buffer screen, and stormwater management.

Project Narrative

Large scale solar facility. Project proposes to construct a 92.5 MW alternating current solar energy generating facility to be located on ~841 acres. The project includes a construction of  a substation that will connect to the existing 138-kilovolt overhead electrical transmission line passing through the southeast corner of the project area.

Note: ~262 acres of the proposed project are located outside of the Urban Growth Boundary and subject to the Conditional Use process

The project consists of single-axis trackers, 535W modules, 3.38MW inverters, and new substation to connect the solar facility with the electric grid.
