Radio training is mandatory for all end users of the radio system. All classes are conducted by a trained and certified instructor. On the bottom of this page is the start of the registration process to attend a radio training class.

Prior to registering for any radio training class all students must complete the three National Incident Management System classes listed below. If you need to take one of these classes just click on the title of the class and you will be redirected to the on-line FEMA Emergency Management Institute web site. There is a link at the top right, next to the class title, that will allow you to begin the on-line class.

All line officers and department management personnel must also complete the NIMS classes listed below.  IS-300 and IS-400 are not classes that can be taken online but rather, are courses that are instructed by RESA 8 instructors. If either of these classes is needed please click the class title and you will be redirected to RESA 8, any upcoming classes will be listed on the calendar page located on the far right tab.

The current dates of training in 2015 are: TBD
