James Hite Park

Welcome to James Hite Park, a 119-acre community park designed for recreation, relaxation, and connection. Enjoy the scenic 2-mile walking trail, well-maintained soccer fields, rentable picnic pavilions, pickleball courts, a peaceful fishing pond, and a playground for family fun. With exciting future additions planned—including a dog park, softball and football fields, basketball courts, and a skate park—James Hite Park continues to grow as a dynamic space for all ages to gather, play, and enjoy the outdoors.

The Master Plan also incorporates a high emphasis on passive recreation opportunities and includes a series of picnic pavilions and shelters and outdoor games to take advantage of the 119 acre site's natural amenities and treed areas.

Construction on the park began Spring 2015.
