Banner & Sponsorship Program

The Jefferson County Parks and Recreation Commission is now offering a Banner and Sponsorship program!

Banners will be prominently displayed in the Jefferson County Community Center gym on a year-round basis during all JCPRC programs, special events, and facility rentals. Banners will be 3'x5' white vinyl with your company name, logo, and contact information in one color.

Brochures are published and distributed three times per year in Fall, Winter and Summer. Sponsorship includes a business card size ad with your company name, logo, and contact information in black and white and a listing on the JCPRC website with a link to your organizations/business.


$300 for the 1st year, $200 for renewals (Banners)

$100 for the 1st year, $75.00 for renewals (Print & Web)

$375 for the 1st year, $275 for renewals (Banner/Print and Web)


Movie Sponsorship

During the summer months, Jefferson County Parks and Recreation hosts a Summer Movie in the Park event. To comply
with copyright laws, we order the movie from a company that also sells a licensing agreement. The cost for the public viewing license is approximately $400 per movie.

We are seeking businesses who may be interested in sponsoring the licensing fee of these movies. Currently, the park offers
the movies to the public for a $1 per person admission fee. This covers the cost of the movie, so the park can hold the event. A movie sponsor would eliminate the $1 admission fee, and we could offer the movie to the public admission free.

Jefferson County Parks and Recreation is a non-profit government agency. Sponsorship costs would come with a donation letter, making the sponsorship tax deductible for the sponsor.

In previous years, we have seen as few as 200 people, and as many as 1000 people attend movie nights. We advertise
in newspapers, flyers, banners, signs and on various social media sources, such as facebook. Our facebook page has just under 5000 users. The Little Mermaid movie facebook event reached over 1600 people, and was shared to other
facebook pages over 40 times in the first 48 hours. Our sponsor’s name would be added to the title of the movie
(ie “The Little Mermaid, sponsored by Your Name Here”).

Sponsors will also be featured on a 4’x3’ banner at the admission gate the evening of the movie, and your company
logo and/or name will be displayed on our giant, inflatable movie screen before the movie begins.

This is a fun, family, community event. We try very hard to make it a memorable experience for our guests. In addition to the movie, guests may also enjoy crafts, photos with characters, and concessions. For instance, for The Little Mermaid movie event, the first 100 children thru the gate will receive a free bottle of bubbles, all participants will have the opportunity to have their picture taken with characters from the movie (student actors from Washington High School), and crafts will be offered in a flutter of bubbles from various bubble machines on the property.
